Spring course registration information will be sent in mid-October. Please remember to check with your advisor before then so you are ready with your class ideas.
- This appears in your email box as an email link to a survey.
- Please read all instructions carefully.
- Your assigned RAP class will begin to display in MyCUInfo as soon as it is entered.
If students need to change their Honors RAP class after meeting or speaking with their assigned academic advisor, every effort will be made to accommodate their changeÌýrequest based on space availability in classes at the time the request is communicatedÌýwith the Honors RAP Coordinator at 303-492-3695 orÌýhrap@colorado.edu.
Priority Enrollment
Since everybody in the Honors RAP is offered at least one course per year, the process to collect spring course surveys and enroll will be the following:
Those who did not yet take an Honors RAP course in the fall semester will receive the course survey email early, on October 07, 2024. The submissions will be processed with a higher priority but need to be submitted by Nov 15th for that priority to be leveraged.Ìý
For those who are in a fall Honors RAP class, the survey will be sent on Oct 14th.
For submissions arriving after November 15th through January 5th, Honors RAP will enroll all requests as having equal priority and these will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Also, during this time, second Honors RAP classes will be possible.
Starting January 6th, all Honors RAP students can email HRAP@colorado.edu to request a seat in any course offered. Waitlists will start on January 6th.Ìý
Fall 2024Ìýregistration
Students living in the Honors RAP Smith Hall submit preferences for their honors class each semester from the Honors RAP schedule hosted here on this website.
Registration begins the week of July 1st. Seats in the Honors RAP classes are filled on a first-come, first-servedÌýbasis.
The Difference between Honors Program classes and Honors RAP classes
Honors RAP classes are NOT found in a class search within the catalog or the registration system. This is done to prevent other students from registering in the RAP's classes. Honors Program classes (section 880-882 or so) are displayed. In order to serve the entire campus with enough Honors courses, the Honors RAP classes are provided for the students residing in Smith Hall/HRAP; while the Honors Program classes are serving those residing anywhere else.
All first year students are invited to take one Honors RAP course per academic year. Continuing students have the option to take an HRAP class. Class size is typically limited to 17 students.
Fall 2024Ìýcourse registration information will be sent in early June. Please remember to check your colorado.edu email account.
