Dear Potential New Members (PNMs),ÌýÌý

Congratulations on your decision to attend CU Â鶹ӰԺ! Coming to Â鶹ӰԺ is one of the first impactful decisions you will make as you venture into adulthood. You should be so proud of your achievements and the steps you have taken to get where you are. While it may be scary, I know I was scared at first, you can make something new of yourself and become the person you have always wanted to be. It may sound cliché, but I have met my best friends, developed as a personÌýand learned so many new things in my years at CU. Coming to Â鶹ӰԺ is, without a doubt, one of the best, most positively life-altering experiences that I have ever had. CU is a great place to explore your interests, learn new things about academics and yourself, and be equipped to take on the future and change the world.ÌýÌý

Joining a sorority is another big decision that we are so excited you are making! The decision to join a sorority will help make our 30,000-person campus a little smaller and more like home. The Panhellenic community at CU Â鶹ӰԺ is a vibrant, diverseÌýand impactful group of women committed to scholarship, leadership, serviceÌýand sisterhood. As a member of one of our chapters, you will have the chance to forge lifelong friendships, develop as a leader, give back to the communityÌýand create lasting memories throughout your college experience. Participating in sorority recruitment is not just about finding a place to belong; it's about discovering your potential and connecting with a supportive network of women who will empower and uplift you. Our chapters foster personal growth, academic achievementÌýand a strong sense of community.Ìý

My most significant piece of advice to PNMs is to be yourselves. You're probably rolling your eyes at how cliché it sounds to trust the process and be yourself, but listen to it!ÌýRecruitment is a time to showcase who you truly are—all your quirks, values andÌýpersonality traits. Chapters want to learn who you really are! There's no mold for a "sorority girl," no matter what you hear. There's no right or wrong chapter, just the best fit for you. Letters are just letters, do not make choices based on the letters on the house.ÌýPay attention to the feeling you get when you're in the house and talking to the members. Do you feel at home? Don't worry, I'm confident that you'll find it.Ìý

If you have any questions about Sorority Recruitment or the Panhellenic community, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Myself, the rest of the Panhellenic Executive BoardÌýand your Rho Gammas are here to support you every step of the way. Remember to enjoy the weekend, be authenticÌýand seek the place that will best help you grow into the best version of yourself. I look forward to welcoming you into the Panhellenic community and witnessing the incredible journey that lies ahead for you.ÌýÌý

I am so excited to meet all of you,Ìý
