Amelia Celoza, PhD
Amelia Celoza is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering. She earned her BSE in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and her MS in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, focusing on Sustainable Design and Construction. Prior to starting her PhD, she worked as a construction contracts manager on large manufacturing projects. She earned her PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2022. While at UT, she worked as a graduate research assistant for the Construction Industry Institute. Her PhD focused on the contractual challenges faced in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry as more collaborative technologies are implemented to manage project information. Amelia鈥檚 research interests include information management in the built environment, visualization and collaboration technologies, and building information modeling. She is excited to work with students to improve how projects in the built environment are designed, constructed, and operated.
