Celebrating our Native American and Indigenous Communities
In November, we recognize and celebrate Native American and Indigenous community members in our college. This is a time to celebrate cultures, traditions, and histories, as well as to acknowledge the important contributions of the original inhabitants of North America. We also seek to bring awareness to our engineering community about Native tribes and the unique challenges Native people have faced, both historically and in the present.Ěý

Make a Co-Worker's Day
Shoutout to the ITL Program Manufacturing Center Team!
Recently, the ITL Program Manufacturing Center team, led by Jenn Boggs and Mark Eaton, took their student staff on a local experiential team-building outreach tour of Tecomet, a global medical-equipment and aerospace manufacturer. This visit, led by a CU Â鶹ӰԺ mechanical engineering alumnus, gave these student staff a unique opportunity to network with a potential future employer and get a glimpse into the scale and operations of one of the largest contract manufacturers in the industry.
Make a co-worker’s day. Think of a co-worker who has been doing a fabulous job lately or someone who has helped you out. Send your shout out to CEASHR@colorado.edu to have it included in our next newsletter!
