The Engineering Graduation Ceremony will return to Macky Auditorium on Dec. 16 to celebrate the graduation of CU Engineering bachelor's, master's and doctoral students, as well as computer science BA students. Graduates will be recognized individually by name and take the traditional walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover. 

who is graduating with their bachelor’s degree in December for a college award! Any CU faculty or staff member, or a fellow student, can nominate a graduating student for an award (self-nominations not permitted).

Review the award criteria associated with each of the eight award categories and by Wednesday, Nov. 3. Awardees will be notified by Dec. 1 and be announced by the college.

Victor M. Bright of Rady Mechanical Engineering will deliver his Distinguished Research Lecture “Microscale Sensors and Machines—Size Matters!” virtually on Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 4–5 p.m. Bright will give an overview of the history of microscale sensors and micromachines, and the contributions of his research. He has more than 300 publications in the field, and has advised more than 50 PhD and MS graduate students during his career.

This workshop provides participants with the skills to create inclusive learning and work environments for people of diverse gender identities and sexual orientations. We cover topics such as campus climate, campus resources, heteronormativity, the spectrum of sex, gender, and sexual orientation and relationships, as well as how these identities intersect with other facets of identity such as race, religion, and nationality.

Join the Digital Accessibility Office (DAO) for a presentation on digital accessibility principles. This presentation will include content accessibility best practices as well as some tips on how to host accessible virtual presentations and events. Attendees will learn how to create content and presentations that are more accessible to people with disabilities.
