Join college colleagues for a hybrid active harmer response training with Police Sgt. Matt DeLaria. These classes by the CU 麻豆影院 Police Department (CUPD) highlight proactive response techniques developed by experts to increase the probability of survival in an active harmer situation.听

Research & Innovation Week will feature a , ATLAS and engineering lab tours and much more. The event is designed to build a sense of community, create opportunities for collaboration and recognize exceptional leadership and outcomes across campus.

CU Engineering alumnus Ashok Srivastava (PhDElEngr鈥�96), senior vice president at Intuit, will delve into how Intuit is applying deep domain expertise and human talent across multiple disciplines to responsibly build products.听

Join the听听(Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification) team for a mini-expo to learn what they've been working on and how you can get involved. There will be poster presentations, demos and more. Food and drinks will be provided!听

Faculty members, postdocs and doctoral students who want to share their scholarly research and expertise with a broader audience are invited to join an information session with a visiting editor from this well-regarded nonprofit and independent news organization. Sessions will be available in the DLC, JSCBB and UMC.

Deadline for nominations is Oct. 21
Graduating undergraduate student award听nominations are now being accepted for students graduating with their bachelor鈥檚 degree in December 2024!听 The听听is open through Oct. 21 for our seven award categories.

The complete set of听criteria associated with each award must be fully addressed by nominators, so please gather that information in advance.听Winners will be notified by mid-November and honored at the听December Engineering Graduation Ceremony.

Costumes are encouraged 鈥� you could even win a prize!听Plus, take some time to vote for the best scariest, engineering-themed, classic or funniest pumpkins in the 10^th annual carving contest, hosted by ESC and the college HR team.

Applications for sabbaticals for tenured or tenure-track faculty for fall 2025 and academic year 2025-26 are听due Monday, Dec. 2. Applications for sabbaticals in spring 2026 or calendar year 2026 are听due Wednesday, Jan. 15. If you plan to take a sabbatical, please ensure your application is submitted to CEAS HR by the deadline.
