The college is proposing an that will be added into the . The purpose of the Inclusive Culture Council is to provide strategic leadership and transparency for cultivating an inclusive, equitable, interculturally competent and supportive environment in the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Faculty and staff are encouraged to review the proposal and share their feedback by April 1, in advance of the official vote on May 11.

Any classified or university staff member who is a full- or part-time, permanent employee in the College of Engineering and Applied Science is eligible to serve. Self-nominations are accepted.
All nominations must be received by April 9. Staff members who accept the nomination and receive clearance from their supervisors will be placed on the college-wide ballot later this semester. Eight candidates will be selected to serve two-year terms starting July 1.
Noteworthy
- North wing renovations. A remodeling project is starting this month in the north wing of the Engineering Center (the former aerospace wing). Beginning Monday, March 29, all access, including bathrooms, loading dock and exterior doors, will be restricted going to the north wing. Please use other entrances, schedule deliveries to the south loading dock and use restrooms in the main lobby, south lobby or the DLC. The project will also involve renovations to parking lot 444, just north of the DLC. Construction will cut off access to this lot from May to August. If you use this lot, please plan to use parking lot or garage 436, to the east of the EC and DLC, for the summer months.
