CU Engineering continues to climb as a premier destination for top graduate students, with Tuesday鈥檚 release of the ranking.
The College of Engineering and Applied Science is tied for No. 26 overall and No. 13 among its public university peers, up one spot over last year. Three engineering programs are ranked in the top 10 amongst public institutions, with another three landing in the top 20.
Open Call for Associate Dean for Faculty Advancement
After defining the position and providing four years of exemplary service, JoAnn Silverstein will be stepping down from her position as associate dean for faculty advancement in July.
The college is now seeking applications from interested faculty for the position. Applications must be received by April 15, and the appointment will start on July 1.

Any classified or university staff member who is a full- or part-time, permanent employee in the College of Engineering and Applied Science is eligible to serve. Self-nominations are accepted.
All nominations must be received by April 9. Staff members who accept the nomination and receive clearance from their supervisors will be placed on the college-wide ballot later this semester. Eight candidates will be selected to serve two-year terms starting July 1.
The Colorado Shared Instrumentation in Nanofabrication and Characterization research facility is calling for proposals that would be enabled by their equipment and staff. Principal investigators must be faculty and/or staff (including external academic and local companies), projects must be novel and innovative, and project must include a collaboration component with COSINC staff. The application deadline is April 30, and questions should be directed to COSINC Director Aju Jugessur.
