Educational Foundations, Policy & Practice

 

The Educational Foundations, Policy & Practice emphasis focuses on policy analysis, curriculum theory, and the application of academic disciplines鈥攁nthropology, history, law, philosophy, and sociology鈥攖o the analysis of education. You will analyze educational theory, policy, and practice by drawing on the humanities and the social sciences. We are devoted to the critical examination of the relationships among education, society, culture, and government, with special emphasis on problems of race, gender, sexual diversity, social class, and multiculturalism.
