After receiving his master鈥檚 degree听Jeffrey McCoy听(Aero, MS鈥�10) took a job with Raytheon in Aurora, Colo., and bought a house in Parker. Jeffrey has been working with Raytheon for three years and is supporting multiple space-related programs as a software developer. Jeffrey writes the most interesting part is the ability to keep learning new things to become the metaphorical 鈥渏ack of all trades.鈥�

Second-year student at CU-麻豆影院 law school听Brad Revare听(Econ鈥�10) started The Textbook Champ to help CU and other college students save money on their textbooks. The business was inspired and assisted by Brad鈥檚 father听Scott Revare听(Fin鈥�81) and two brothers who are CU-麻豆影院 students, Mitchell Revare and Spencer Revare. The website is thetextbookchamp.com.

麻豆影院 rider听Kiel Reijnen听(MechEngr ex鈥�10) participated in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in August. Last summer he finished third at the Tour of Utah and helped his team United Health Care Pro Cycling win second place overall. Kiel won the Philly Cycling Classic earlier in the summer and finished third at the 2013 USA Cycling professional road race nationals. He lives on Bainbridge Island, Wash.

In the July 26 issue of听The Denver Post听Esubalew Johnston听(A&S ex鈥�10) appeared in an article about Ethiopian immigrants. He emigrated to the U.S. from Ethiopia in 1997 after being adopted by an American family. As a child in Ethiopia he was kidnapped, blinded by his kidnappers and forced to beg for money on the streets. According to the article, Esubalew is looking for a job where he can work with adopted children. He is determined to send money back to his family in Ethiopia. He lives in Englewood, Colo.

CEO and founder of startup company FirstJob听Eyal Grayevsky听(Fin鈥�10) launched his job-search website in March. Eyal鈥檚 company targets recent college graduates in search of their dream job and provides a streamlined approach for employers to find qualified entry-level talent. He lives in 麻豆影院.

Fourth generation of Sandmeyer Steel Company听Rebecca Sandmeyer听(Psych鈥�10) joined the business as district sales manager in its Rocky Mountain sales territory, which includes Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The company is a leading producer of stainless steel and nickel alloy plate products used in capital equipment for the chemical industries. She brings with her marketing and sales experience from Justin鈥檚 Nut Butter in 麻豆影院.

Last summer听Liz Handing听(Psych鈥�10) went on a road trip through the Southwest where she took photographs of Paria Canyon-Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness, including a formation called 鈥淭he Wave鈥� and of Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon. Liz lives in Tampa, Fla.

During Back to 麻豆影院 Weekend听Jordan Steffen听(Jour, IntlAf鈥�10) spoke at the journalism and mass communication鈥檚 program 鈥淗ot News: Smart Tools.鈥� Jordan is a breaking-news reporter for听The Denver Post.听Last summer she covered the Colorado wildfires and Aurora theater shooting, producing everything from print copy to videos using her iPhone.

Denver resident听Courtney Brunkow听(Mktg鈥�10) manages the account of Cocona for the public relations agency Verde PR and Consulting. Cocona is a 麻豆影院-based leader in rapid-dry active particle technologies. Courtney will bring visibility to Cocona鈥檚 innovations.

In June听James Nickerson听(Psych鈥�10) married Talmai Aguierre in Silver City, Colo. The couple lives in 麻豆影院.

Director of Nyaya Health听Mark Arnoldy听(Psych鈥�10) works in western Nepal to deliver health care through an innovative model for Nepal鈥檚 poorest and underserved. Nyaya Health will be hosting its first event in 麻豆影院 in August.

Providing people with justice is a passion for Broomfield resident听David Hinojosa听(Hum鈥�10). While at CU, he devoted himself to helping people and communities with a specific focus on ending male violence and sexual assault. For his efforts, he was recognized at the Community Action Program鈥檚 23rd annual Multicultural Awards event in Longmont. He is a staff member at 麻豆影院鈥檚 Moving to End Sexual Assault where he works as the bilingual services coordinator.

Monique Terrasas听(Mktg鈥�10) joined 麻豆影院鈥檚 FreeWave Technologies as marketing coordinator. She is responsible for executing and reporting on marketing plans and projects. Prior to this position she worked at the Denver marketing company Explore Communications.

After graduating听Kara Zucker听(PolSci鈥�10) joined the Peace Corps as a youth development volunteer. She serves in the most western region of El Salvador in Ahuachapan. Follow her experiences at karazucker.blogspot.com.

Mark Arnoldy听(Psych鈥�10) is founder of NepalNUTrition, which has used peanut butter to help feed nearly 1,700 children in Nepal. He told the 麻豆影院听Camera听that rising peanut butter costs may affect people鈥檚 ability to donate the product. He partnered with Nut.rients, a 麻豆影院 company with the intent of making peanut butter and supplying it to malnourished children.

The Peace Corps has been an incredible experience for听Connor Botkin听(IntPhys鈥�10). He is stationed in the northern region of Ghana, Africa, in the village of Kpendua, where he has virtually no electricity or access to running water. He writes he has his issues of the听Coloradan听sent from home as a way to keep up with the happenings of other Forever Buffs.

Three of CU-麻豆影院鈥檚 journalism school graduates,听Stephanie Davis听(Jour鈥�10),听Phil McMichael听(Jour鈥�10) and听Lauren Walter听(Art, Jour鈥�10) work for the company Tagwhat. The company鈥檚 app allows users to look through their phones at places around them to read interesting stories about the locations. Stephanie, Phil and Lauren work as multimedia content producers for the company.

Last summer听Molly Podolefsky听(MEcon鈥�10) baked more than 50 pies in her kitchen to raise money for the nonprofit organization Greenhouse Scholars. She has been participating in Venus de Miles, Colorado鈥檚 only annual all-women road bike ride during which she received her inspiration to contribute to Greenhouse Scholars. She is a doctoral student at CU and lives in 麻豆影院.

Musician听Greg Simon听(MMus鈥�10) is an adjunct instructor of theory at CU and Metropolitan State College of Denver. He is a composition fellow at the Brevard Music Center and has performed at the Mayne Stage in Chicago, the Western International Band Clinic and the California Band Directors鈥� Association Convention. He lives in Denver.

Hannah Goodman (Psych鈥�11) graduated with a PhD in chemistry from the University of Arizona in December 2023. Her thesis, completed in the lab of Professor Robin Polt, described the synthesis and evaluation of glycosylated oxytocin analogs for treating pain and substance use disorders. She is currently defining the pharmacological signature of iboga alkaloids for treating substance use disorders and other psychopathology as a postdoctoral research scientist at Columbia University in Professor Dalibor Sames鈥� lab.
