Brokerage firm Drexel Hamilton announced the formation of an energy industry research team that includes John Ragozzino (Fin). He has 15 years of institutional equity experience, and has previously worked for Wells Fargo and RBC Capital Markets.

Regina Brigid Stewart (ArchEngr) teaches math at Arvada West High School in Colorado. She recently obtained her master鈥檚 degree and next year will be teaching AP calculus. She loves spending time at home with her children Tyler and Kiera and baking in the kitchen.

After spending 11 years聽as an anchor at KOB聽in Albuquerque, N.M.,聽Nicole Brady (Jour)聽returned to Colorado聽and is now a reporter聽and anchor for Denver7聽on weekday mornings.聽She and her husband live聽in the Denver area with聽their two children.

Curious Minds: 40 Hands-on Activities to Inspire a Love of Learning, a book written by Azeem Vasi (Chem) and Tyler Kolstedt (Hist鈥�04; MEdu鈥�10), is intended for teachers, parents or homeschoolers searching for new ways to motivate and engage students between the ages of 9 and 12. Curious Minds takes a multidisciplinary approach to learning and incorporates science, social studies, math, language arts and world languages. Azeem and Tyler were roommates at CU.

After 21 high school indoor and outdoor track championships, Keena Schuler Wood (Soc) was inducted into the 2015 Virginia High School Hall of Fame for her achievements in interscholastic sports. She continued her running career at CU-麻豆影院 and was a member of the Big 12 distance medley championship team and 4脳400 team.

In April聽Sean Smiley聽(Math, CompSci) joined Cimation, a consulting firm serving the energy industry, as operations director for the Denver office. Among other duties, he is responsible for establishing the regional business unit鈥檚 vision and execution strategies.

Dallas natives聽Zack Fickey聽(Comm) and聽John Reardon聽(Fin鈥�03) own and operate the Texas craft brewery Deep Ellum Brewing Company. The pair credit their success to great brews, creative marketing and design and their CU experience. 鈥淐ouldn鈥檛 have made this possible without the love of craft beer right in our own backyards for so many years,鈥� Zack writes.

As grants manager at CU鈥檚 BioFrontiers Institute,聽Meagan Balink Taylor聽(Jour) uses her six years of experience in grant writing and sponsored research administration to help faculty submit grant proposals, develop budgets and navigate regulations. She lives in Broomfield, Colo.

Anne Verrill聽(PolSci) owns two restaurants in Maine, Foreside Tavern in Falmouth and Grace, which is located in a former Methodist church in Portland. Anne is a mother of two and lives
in Falmouth.

Kevin J. Jones聽(Class) of Denver reported on the hopes and the sufferings of Syrian and Iraqi refugees in Jordan and Lebanon during a Catholic Relief Services鈥� 2014 Egan Journalism Fellowship. His reports were published through the Denver-based Catholic News Agency, where he is a senior staff writer. Kevin鈥檚 reports were translated for CNA鈥檚 Spanish- and Portuguese-language sister news agencies.

She directs the Harmony Clinical Program, which treats around 700 men and women for alcohol and drug addiction each year.

Anthony Pigliacampo聽(Engr) created Modmarket with partner Rob McColgan as a healthy alternative to existing fast-food restaurants. There are now 10 Modmarket restaurants in Colorado and Texas, and the chain is hoping for more. Read more about Anthony in the Summer 2014 issue of the聽Coloradan. When聽Brad Turner聽(Jour, Mus) of Denver joined Colorado Public Radio in 2013, he was the first digital producer for CPR鈥檚 classical service. He has worked as a reporter, editor and public relations professional. Before working at CPR, Brad managed communications and voter outreach for the 麻豆影院 County Elections Division.

Surna, a company that develops, produces and sells equipment for the legal marijuana industry, hired聽Todd Whitaker聽(MechEngr鈥�02) as vice president of engineering. Todd has designed core systems for the Mars Phoenix Lander and Mars Rovers for NASA and has extensive experience in sealed systems, thermal system design, chemistry mechanisms and more. He lives in 麻豆影院.

The Buck family welcomed future Buff Riley John Buck on Jan. 9, 2014.聽John Buck聽(Econ鈥�02) and聽Jessica Israel Buck鈥檚 (Comm鈥�03) healthy baby boy weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. The family resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Journalist聽Jefferson Dodge聽(MJour鈥�02) accepted a position at Colorado State University after spending several years as the 麻豆影院 Weekly newspaper鈥檚 managing editor. He works in the communications office, serving primarily the veterinary medicine college and the health and human sciences college. He lives with his family in Longmont, Colo.

In early January Prestige Estate Services launched its third branch in Richmond, Va. In May 2010聽Alicia Weaver(Fin鈥�02) started the company, which has branches in Denver and southwest Florida. Since then Alicia has grown the enterprise about 50 percent each year. She and her husband Brad and their son Jake split their time living in Florida and Lakewood, Colo.

After graduating聽Leila Hemati Wing聽(BioChem鈥�02) went to medical school in Detroit and completed her training in internal medicine at the University of Arizona. In August 2013 she joined the staff at Oro Valley Hospital in Arizona as an endocrinologist. Her husband,聽Zachary Wing聽(Aero鈥�01), is director of science and technology at Advanced Ceramics Manufacturing. They live in Tucson, Ariz., with their three-year-old daughter.

Seana Lowe Steffen聽(PhDSoc鈥�02) is director of the Restorative Leadership Institute, which offers strategic consulting and capacity building to clients from California to Senegal. Last November the nonprofit organization B Lab honored Seana鈥檚 and RLI鈥檚 work as 鈥淏est for Communities.鈥� Seana is a former member of the CU-麻豆影院 faculty and founding director of the CU INVST Community Studies program, which develops students into engaged citizens and leaders who work for the benefit of humanity and the environment. She lives in Longmont, Colo.
