Hoffman Scholars Program
Named after University of Colorado President Elizabeth Hoffman, who adopted the phrase, 鈥淭he University Without Walls,鈥 to capture her vision for CU,听the Hoffman Scholars program is an endowed fund that听gives undegraduate & graduate students the opportunity to accompany mentors at the Center of the American West to forums and conferences that provide a close-up glimpse of current and often controversial Western American issues. Past Hoffman scholars have presented at the American Association of Geographers about our Indigenous Connections at Rocky Mountain National Park, visited听to Wyoming鈥檚 Powder River Basin to explore split-estate issues, attended a Bureau of Land Management public affairs conference in New Mexico, and so much more. Students鈥 travel expenses and registration fees are fully covered by the fund.
