Minor programs typically range from 12 to 24 credits. Some coursework may be double-counted toward your CEAE degree, saving you time. However, you should plan on some additional time investment to earn a minor. Your academic advisor can help identify which courses can be double-counted and how to incorporate the minor requirements into your degree plan.

While it is rare, some CEAE students may wish to pursue a second degree in a different discipline.

If you want to add a second major within the College of Engineering and Applied Science, please ask your CEAE academic advisor about the paperwork required. If you want to add a second major within a different college/program (i.e. the College of Arts & Sciences), you need to meet that program's IUT requirements before declaring the major.
