Women in the MBA programFor my first year in the MBA program, the Women in Business Club was one of the most influential clubs I participated in all year. I met countless women at these events and learned from their business experience and their advice. Some of them became my mentors and their advice helped set me up for success in finding an internship and navigating a career path. It is exciting to see what women are doing in leadership roles and I am thankful CU has such a good relationship with professional women in the Â鶹ӰԺ/Denver area.

At the beginning of the semester, women in business holds a women's retreat for the first and second-year girls in the MBA program. The event is designed to allow first and second years to get to know their cohort better and to make connections outside of preparing for the onslaught of school work. This year we went up to Vail for a night during the peak fall colors.Women in the MBA program

We had a great time getting to hear each other's goals and sharing advice from the program. Before we all left we got to go on the perfect fall hike to take in the changing Aspen trees. The Women in Business retreat is one of my favorite events of the year, and I am always inspired by the intelligent and experienced women in my cohort.
