The MBAA Applied Data Sicence Club supports the growth and connection between MBA and MS students at Leeds who are looking to work within the Data Science Industry upon graduation. Events include workshops and webinars on new and emerging applications, R computer language, SQL, and networking events.
The Deming Center Venture Fund (DCVF) supports emerging companies in Â鶹ӰԺ and surrounding communities. The Fund is managed by Leeds MBA and Colorado Law School students. Student team members benefit from the guidance of an experienced advisory board that includes University faculty and local leaders in venture capital and angel investing.

The MBAA Finance Club is a student-led organization designed to serve as a link between the MBA program and the finance community. It is a great opportunity to learn more about potential career paths in finance and network with finance professionals, alumni, and fellow students. Additionally, it is my hope that the organization reaches out to more individuals than those interested in traditional finance topics such as corporate finance, investment management, and investment banking through exposure to non-traditional topics such as socially responsible investing. We are committed to planning the best events, speakers, networking and career resourcing activities to further facilitate interest in finance.
The GREA is a student-led organization that focuses on providing CU MBA students with educational, networking and service opportunities within the real estate profession. By teaming up with the CU Real Estate Center and other student-run organizations, the GREA organizes various real estate events, trips, tours, and speaker panels to provide insight into various real estate careers and topics.
The Leeds Entrepreneurs Alliance (LEAP) is on a mission to help those who seek to understand the steps required to take an idea from concept to actual business. We work closely with other CU and MBAA clubs to build networks of resources for the use of all students who strive to solve problems in business as entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, small business aspirants, and the like. We seek to demystify the process of building a business, from idea to the viable business. We are open to a wide audience including graduate students and undergraduates of different disciplines, and strive to build the connections that support these goals under the LEA banner. LEA also manages n-Lab and the General Track of the New Venture Challenge.
The mission of the MBAA Leeds Outdoor Industry Club (LOIC) is to grow and strengthen the MBA program through community interaction in order to prepare students for careers in the Outdoor Industry. By leveraging Â鶹ӰԺ’s extensive community of outdoor industry companies and professionals, the Leeds Outdoor Industry Club provides opportunities for MBA students at the Leeds School of Business to learn and apply key business skills within the context of the Outdoor Industry. The goal of the Leeds Outdoor Industry Club is to facilitate professional development, promote the sharing of industry knowledge as well as create networking and educational opportunities within the Leeds MBA program.
Leeds Social Impact Consultants (LSIC)Ìýaims to provide consulting services to Colorado non-profits by recruiting CU graduate students with diverse skills and backgrounds. We believe that both the rigorous business training we are engaged in and our previous professional experience will be of value in building stronger and more successful social enterprises. We are an MBA student-run, pro-bono consulting service for non-profits and social ventures. In cooperation with the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, LSIC seeks to further develop relationships between the Leeds School of Business at the Â鶹ӰԺ and the region’s extensive non-profit and social enterprise network.
The MBAA Marketing Club at the Leeds School of Business focuses on providing a variety of opportunities to enhance the student experience outside of the classroom. Our goal is to support activities and programs that provide value and increase club involvement and participation. Such activities will include the following: dedicated speaker panels throughout the year to address a variety of industries and functional roles including brand management, field marketing, marketing communications, brand strategy, market research and green marketing; marketing focused field trips and facility tours to gain "behind the scenes" insight; on and off-site workshops that enlist participation and expertise from regional businesses; increased engagement with Leeds marketing faculty.
The MBAA Net Impact Club (NIC)ÌýÌýis an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to mobilize a new generation to use their careers to drive transformational change in their workplaces and the world. Spanning six continents, Net Impact membership makes up one of the most influential networks of MBAs, graduate students, and professionals in existence today.
The Organics + Naturals @ Deming club exists to empower and enhance MBA students’ involvement with the Organics and Naturals community through networking, learning and research opportunities.
The MBAA Supply Chain Club supports both MBA and MS students looking to pursue careers in Suplply Chain positions by meeting and learning from professionals currently working in the field. The club also collaborates with the Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM) to help the students network and secure job opportunities prior to graduating.
As the student enrollment expands, so does the opportunity to connect and get to know other Veterans on campus. Our MBAA Veterans Club works to serve MBA students who have previously served or are currently serving.Events include the MBA Veterans Career Conference and socials held with the Veterans from the Law School and Engineering School.
The MBAA Women in Business Club at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ has both undergraduate and MBA chapters that work to build an inclusive community that supports and enables women by fostering a network and furthering gender equality. Activities include speaker panels, networking and social events, mentorship, skills workshops and participation in conferences including the and the Women Inspiring Leadership Development Summit. The club is associated with MBA Women International, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of businesswomen as corporate leaders, executives and entrepreneurs—enriching workforce diversity around the world.
