Entrepreneur and founder Matt Cutter is no stranger to CU 鶹ӰԺ, Leeds, the Deming Center and the Creative Distillation research podcast, having been a guest on . And his story, going from software project manager to founder of an award-winning brewery, was featured in and is the stuff of legends.
In the latest podcast Leeds’ Executive MBAs pull no punches asking Matt about operations, product management his early life as a founder/entrepreneur with a family, and his bold decision to walk away from a successful career in pursuit of his brewing dreams.
Matt’s openness in sharing the details of his early struggles as a start-up, challenges faced while securing funding to support growth and even sharing the process of deciding when to leave a successful career in technology delivers insightful take-aways and lessons shared.
“I actually remember talking to my dad and him saying, ‘you know, at some point, the breweries gonna lose, because you're not in there 100%.”
Cutter said.
