Mobile Astronautic Ranging and Control for Positioning and Location (MARCo PoLo)
Description: MARCo PoLo is designing and prototyping a sensor suite for a Lockheed Martin CubeSat similar to LINUSS. The intention of the CubeSat is to provide on-orbit servicing to existing satellites. The team is tasked to develop an algorithm and processor to refine raw sensor data into relative measurements that informs the CubeSat of location and navigation. MARCo PoLo will test the sensor suite this April at Lockheed’s Space Operations Simulation Center (SOSC) facility.
