Marissa Sher is a fiction writer and multimedia artist. She’s spent the last ten years working in the film industry, including seven seasons leading the pre-tape graphics team at Saturday Night Live.
Her current studies focus on the intersection between queer and Jewish identities. Her writing on digital art and the female body has been published by The Independent and Painters on Paintings.
She’s traveled to Antarctica and the Arctic to create video art on climate change, and participates frequently in art-based campaigns to benefit environmental causes. Her video art has been exhibited at galleries in New York City, Paris, and as part of the permanent collection aboard the National Geographic Endurance.
