Computer Science
Carolina is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science with a primary focus on Computational Social Science and the Science of Science. Broadly, her research aims to understand how social inequality influences the production, creation, and dissemination of knowledge, with a specific emphasis on the scientific ecosystem. Methodologically, she is passionate about leveraging computational science for social science research. She holds an MSc in Applied Social Data Science from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Economics from the Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM) in Mexico.
