The University of Colorado Connection
Tynt Technologies was founded in 2020 by Michael D. McGehee (CU 麻豆影院 Chemical and Biological Engineering) and his then PhD students Tyler Hernandez and Michael Strand. They developed the initial technology at Stanford before coming to CU 麻豆影院 to complete their work and found their company. McGehee brought in Ameen Saafir, a former student and experienced founder, to head the company. Tynt has participated in many CU 麻豆影院 programs, including the Lab Venture Challenge (LVC) (winner), multiple Destination Startup庐 showcases, Demo Day with the , and has had multiple investments from the Buff Venture Fund.
