CU Â鶹ӰԺ's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) is pleased to announce the recipients of this summer’s student grants.Ìý These outstanding students (named below) represent a wide range of disciplines and demonstrate how undergraduates advance the university's research and creative mission.

Well-documented as transformative learning experiences, engagement in undergraduate research and creative activities increases persistence to graduation, prepares students for the future of work, creates space for belonging—and is an effective approach to advancing social justice.

Students awarded Assistantships ($2,000 each) will be working closely with mentors on established projects. Individual Grant ($3,000 each) recipients will be working on original ideas supported by mentors. UROP celebrates the mentors (named below) who support these students.

Project proposals were selected in a rigorous review process conducted by the UROP Review Board (named below). The UROP team thanks the research and creative community for their high-impact work evaluating proposals.

We also sincerely appreciate the many staff working behind the scenes to enable these opportunities from advisors and coordinators to the payment team in the Human Resources Service Center.Ìý Our programming partners in the LEAD Alliance and the constellation of research programs make our campus a vibrant community for undergraduate research and creative work.
