Reservations
We鈥檙e excited to have you at The Connection for your next event! First, review the available event packages on our website and select which best suits the needs of your group. Then complete the online reservation request form to inquire about the availability of your date and time. Please note: You must complete the online reservation request form in order to make a reservation. Completing this form does not confirm your reservation. You will be contacted by an event planner within two business days to clarify details and finalize your reservation.

Reservations must be submitted at least three business days in advance of your event date. However, we usually have lanes open that are available for walk-ins. We recommend you request your reservation as soon as you have an event date in mind, as some dates get booked up quickly and availability can be limited.

We accept payment via credit card or university Speedtype.
Your credit card or Speedtype will be charged in full three business days prior to your event.
In order to cancel your event without penalty, you must email your event planner during business hours at least three business days prior to your event. Business hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters (7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during summer). If notice is given less than three business days prior to your event, you will be charged 50% of the cost of your original reservation.
Yes! We offer a Bowling Lane Only reservation to ensure lanes are available for your group. There is an additional cost for each game (per person) and for shoe rental (per pair). We also offer a Billiard Table Only reservation to ensure a table is available for your group. Select your desired options on the reservation request form.
If you would like to plan ahead to ensure lanes are available for your group, you can reserve a party package for two hours. If you would just like to go bowling, then you may walk in and pay by the game. We do not offer one-hour bowling lane reservations.
We offer discounts only for CU Recognized Student Organizations and CU departments. All others pay the standard public pricing.
Recognized Social Greek Organizations (RSGOs) who have chosen to be a part of the CU campus community receive the student organization rate when making reservations at The Connection.
In the event of a campus closure, all reservations will be cancelled and will not incur any charge. You will receive an email and/or phone call from your event planner with more information and the opportunity to reschedule. If extreme weather conditions are predicted that may result in the campus closing early, you will receive an email and/or phone call from your event planner with a deadline to cancel catering without penalty. In the event of a delayed campus opening, we may modify service times, and product availability is subject to change.
Food and Drinks
No outside food is allowed into The Connection. We offer a large snack bar menu.
If you are interested in serving pizza at your event, please ask your event planner for more information.

CU Events Planning & Catering services offer something for everyone, whether that be specific diets, allergy needs or simply taste preferences. Every food item is labeled for the nine most common allergens (eggs, milk, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, wheat and gluten) to ensure food safety for everyone.
Yes! The Connection has a variety of food and snacks available. View the current list of food available at The Connection. If you鈥檇 like to pay for these on behalf of your guests, you may open a tab when you arrive for your reservation and settle the bill at the end of your event.
Yes! Drink tickets may be purchased that cover all beer, wine and non-alcoholic fountain drinks available in The Connection. Ask your event planner for more information. Note: Unused drink tickets are non-refundable.
Water is provided free of charge, and you are encouraged to bring your own cups or bottles. We also sell bottled water.
No. Outside drinks are not allowed into The Connection.
If you would like your event to be alcohol-free, please indicate this in the 鈥渟pecial requests鈥 section of the reservation request form. You will then receive further information from your event planner.
No. Due to health regulations and for the safety of our guests, food not consumed may not be taken from catered events. All leftover food remains the property of CU Events Planning & Catering, as per the Colorado Department of Public Health.
Bowling
Each lane can host a maximum of six bowlers per game.
It varies depending on your group, but a typical game can last approximately one hour.
Yes! All bowling lanes are wheelchair accessible and we have ramps to assist guests. We also have bumpers on every lane that can be raised when requested.
Yes! Our bowling shoes are available in sizes starting at a toddler size 6.
We have men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 socks available to purchase at $3 a pair. Please note: Socks are required due to health regulations.
The 鈥渆xtreme bowling鈥 disco lights are turned on Friday and Saturday nights. If your event falls during those times, then you will have disco lights for your event. If you are reserving the entire facility, you may request to have disco lights for your event, regardless of the day of the week.
Additional Services
Yes! Billiards tables can be added to your bowling party reservation. The reservation must be made for the full duration of your event. Select this option on the reservation request form.
Yes! You may add use of the lounge area or to your party reservation for an additional rental fee. Contact your event planner for details. On request, you may also use the XBOX ONE and PS4 video game systems for no additional fee.

The Euclid Parking Garage at 18th and Euclid is the closest public parking to the UMC. You may be able to find free parking on The Hill, the neighborhood located across Broadway from the UMC. Accessible parking can be found at blue metered parking spaces directly next to the UMC.
Depending on the event and its affiliation with CU 麻豆影院, you may be allowed to use CU logos on your event materials. Please contact CU Strategic Relations for more information.
Yes! Please note that all decorations must be approved prior to the event by The Connection staff. It is prohibited to nail, screw or tape items to the walls or ceiling of the facility or to alter, disassemble or remove any item or fixture of the university without prior written permission from the university. Freestanding decorations may be used. Banners and flags may be hung from pipe and drape stands if ordered through your event planner. Glitter, confetti and open flames (including candles, incense, smoldering smudge sticks and/or any incendiary materials) are not permitted in any University of Colorado facilities.
All charges related to any damage resulting from the violation of this policy are the responsibility of the reservation holder individually or the group, organization or department they represent. You are responsible for the removal of all decorations that you brought in, and for clean-up of any area(s) used during your event.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised for the full duration of your event. All events on the CU 麻豆影院 campus with minors in attendance must be in compliance with the campus .
