Campus Programs

Summer Transfer Excellence Program (STEP)

The Summer Transfer Excellence Program (STEP) is a rigorous academic program designed to support incoming Arts & Sciences Transfer Students who are underrepresented and/or first-generation college students in their transition to CU 麻豆影院. This five-week summer bridge program prepares students academically and socially for CU 麻豆影院 through engaging coursework and the chance to build a supportive network of peers, faculty and staff. Students will take two-courses (six credits total) that count towards degree progress, participate in community building activities and learn about resources and opportunities on campus and in the Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program (MASP). Students who complete STEP and enroll in CU in the fall become eligible to join MASP and receive a participation scholarship.
