    A professor emeritus and engineer, Frank Kreith in 2017 won the John Fritz Medal from the American Association of Engineering Societies.

    Deborah Jin passed away Sept. 15, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 47. Jin was an internationally renowned physicist and Fellow with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), an Adjoint Professor in the Department of Physics at CU Â鶹ӰԺ, and a Fellow of JILA, a joint institute of NIST and the University of Colorado.

    Albert Allen Bartlett, professor emeritus of physics at CU Â鶹ӰԺ, was remembered today as a revered teacher who had a major impact on his students, the university, Â鶹ӰԺ and far beyond. Bartlett died at the age of 90.
