- In recognition of his innovative research in soft condensed matter and optical physics, Professor Ivan Smalyukh has been named a Fellow of Optica.
- With the grand opening of the renovated Roe Green Theatre on Nov. 3, the university has ushered in a new era for CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 Department of Theatre & Dance. To celebrate, the department hosted a celebratory ribbon-cutting.
- Gary Wall, a 1970 CU 麻豆影院 physics graduate, won the Los Alamos Medal in recognition of more than 50 years of distinguished work at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
