The College of Media, Communication and Information’s outstanding graduate will head to Stamford, Connecticut, this summer to work with NBC Sports as an Olympics production fellow.

We will hold listening sessions with incoming CU President Kennedy to share our priorities and values with him and to also hear from him.

Demolition of the university-owned building at 1402 Broadway should be complete by mid-June. The adjacent parking lot to the east will not be affected, and sidewalks along the south and west sides of the site will remain open.

The University of Colorado Board of Regents on May 2 named Mark Kennedy as the institution’s 23rd president. The board voted 5-4 to confirm him.

This weekend brings a super study sesh, UMC study stops, guided meditation at the art museum, CU on Friday, free fitness at The Rec and more.

The work will help ensure the building remains a vibrant hub of activity for the campus community for years to come. The Alferd Packer Grill, Starbucks, Celestial Seasons Teahouse, Jamba Juice, Panda Express and Subway will be closed for the work’s duration.

In late May or early June, a draft report will be made available to the campus community for feedback and suggestions leading up to CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s next national accreditation, which is scheduled for 2020.

The Housing Master Plan and Transportation Master Plan initiatives are deep into outreach and data-gathering phases, with surveys having recently been sent to campus community members. An Energy Master Plan initiative is slated to launch this summer.

The project team is getting set to compile and analyze insights from scenario planning teams as the initiative moves closer to development of a digital planning tool for facilities and infrastructure.
