Effective July 6, Glen Krutz will become the dean of CU 麻豆影院's College of Arts and Sciences. He comes from Oklahoma State University and will succeed Jim White.

After nearly three decades, Professor Jana Milford is set to retire in August. Milford has held many titles, from Department of Mechanical Engineering chair and director of the Environmental Engineering Program to founding faculty advisor for the Engineering GoldShirt Program.

Anyone who has spent time in the Idea Forge has come to know Shirley Chessman. After working as the Idea Forge mechanical lab engineer for the past seven years, Chessman is retiring this summer.

Chancellor Philip DiStefano welcomed a delegation of energy, climate, environment and science counselors representing the European Union to CU 麻豆影院. The chancellor highlighted the university鈥檚 legacy of climate and environmental research and innovation, as well as commitment to sustainability. He also acknowledged there is more we can all do.
