The University of Colorado Student Government is coordinating a number of relief efforts for residents displaced by the Fourmile Canyon Fire, including a temporary housing online message board, a donation center and a coin drive.

University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ officials continue to closely monitor conditions within the city and county of Â鶹ӰԺ but have been reassured that the fire does not represent a threat to the campus. The university is operating on a normal work and class schedule.

University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ officials are closely monitoring advisories issued earlier this afternoon by the city of Â鶹ӰԺ concerning the Fourmile Canyon Fire. However, the fire does not represent a threat to the campus and the campus is not in the area covered by the city's advisory.

The Fourmile Canyon Fire in Â鶹ӰԺ County does not represent a threat to the University of Colorado and campus classes are proceeding on a normal schedule. However, some students have been displaced from their off-campus housing and others may have been or will be affected by smoke or other impacts from the wildfire.

The Â鶹ӰԺ County Sheriff's Office and local fire departments are combating a wildfire in Â鶹ӰԺ County northwest of the City of Â鶹ӰԺ.

The University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ Police Department is investigating a report of an assault that occurred on Sunday, Sept. 5 in the vicinity of Kittredge Field on the CU-Â鶹ӰԺ campus and is seeking tips to help identify the suspect.
