The FBI has issued a warning on an internet scam that targets college students seeking work. Phony job opportunities are advertised via students鈥� university emails. Unfortunately, students who take the bait suffer financial losses.

On Feb. 8, CUPD will hold four active harmer response sessions for students, faculty and staff. This course is designed as a reactive training on how to respond if an incident occurs, regardless of whether it occurs on campus or elsewhere.

On Monday, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced the addition of 42 medication collection box locations in two dozen counties around the state, including a permanent location at the CU 麻豆影院 Police Department and Parking and Transportation lobby.

The campus has recently been targeted by malicious emails that appear to be attempts to steal usernames and passwords. One such phishing email asked for further account verification which when followed, led people to a login page. These emails are not authentic. El Pueblo Innovation Club (EPIC) is an after-school club for elementary school students that serves as a critical space to interpret and re-imagine roles as learners and teachers, in partnership with CU 麻豆影院 School of Education students.

In the past decade, thanks to an overwhelming scientific consensus that global temperatures are rising, 鈥渆ating local鈥� has become a way for average citizens to make a difference. And thanks to a $24,000 CU 麻豆影院 Outreach Award, a group of faculty and students will reach even farther into the community to increase 鈥渇ood literacy.鈥�

Parking Services extends thanks to all who supported the Food for Fines event prior to Thanksgiving. With 207 parking citations forgiven and 1,784 items donated, the community food drive was a win-win for everyone involved!

CU 麻豆影院 alum and engineer Maithreyi Gopalakrishnan aims to revolutionize local transportation in India. In 2014, as a sophomore, she designed and developed a hybrid conversion kit for rickshaws that would benefit the environment and rickshaw drivers alike.
