With offers from the Fulbright program, a number of CU 麻豆影院 graduate students and alumni are eyeing research and teaching in such places as the Netherlands, India, France and Chile.

Last year, CU 麻豆影院 senior Floyd Pierce, raced around the world for $1 million as a contestant on "The Amazing Race." CBS has aired seven episodes, and, so far, Pierce is still in the game.

Graduating senior Michael Persinger, intent now on medical school, thanks his father for helping him achieve his dreams. "He taught me to always keep pushing no matter what is thrown at me, and I鈥檝e tried to keep that mentality whenever I鈥檓 faced with challenges."

Each spring, CU 麻豆影院 presents the Advisor of the Year Award for outstanding service in academic advising. This year, Arts and Sciences advisor Dylan West won the new professional award, and College of Music advisor Victoria Ibarra was the winner in the experienced professional category.
