The Â鶹ӰԺ City Council this week declared Dec. 19 Dr. Dick Jessor Day. The move is in honor of the professor emeritus’s service as a pillar among CU Â鶹ӰԺ, the behavioral science community and the city for nearly 75 years.

Professional graduate students in the Masters of the Environment Program recently presented their capstone projects. The event included Chancellor Justin Schwartz and Jonathan Asher of the Colorado governor’s Office of Climate Preparedness and Disaster Recovery as keynote speakers.
CU student earns Congressional environmental service award
Joanne Kim, a CU Â鶹ӰԺ computer science student, was recognized by Congressman Joe Neguse with the Mollie H. Beattie Congressional Award for Distinguished Environmental Scholarship for a short film on food waste.
