CU and City to Continue Party Registration Pilot Program

The University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ and the city of Â鶹ӰԺ today announced a second pilot party registration program designed to help students become better informed about how to host responsible gatherings while giving police and neighbors other options for resolving noise complaints. The fall program will run Friday and Saturday nights from Aug. 20 to Sept. 25.

City and CU Welcome Students During Back-to-School 'Walkabouts'

Forest fires that have burned thousands of acres near Durango over the last several years may be responsible for unlocking the mercury trapped beneath the soil in the San Juan National Forest and allowing it to wash into Vallecito Reservoir northeast of Durango, according to preliminary findings by a University of Colorado at Â鶹ӰԺ engineering professor.
