Alumna Linda Villarosa covers race, inequality and public health for The New York Times Magazine. In her new book, she tells the full story of racial health disparities in America, revealing the toll racism takes on individuals and public health.

All faculty, instructors, lecturers and adjuncts looking to build camaraderie and community are invited to attend the kickoff event for Faculty Shared Perspectives and Community Engagement, or SPACE, at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

Kumi Naidoo, a South African activist, Rhodes scholar and former executive director of Greenpeace International, will deliver a keynote speech at this year鈥檚 Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit. The summit will be co-hosted by CU 麻豆影院 and United Nations Human Rights.

The Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic bike ride, which this year has nine courses for riders of all abilities, including the family-friendly Little Buff, raises scholarship funds for high-performing CU 麻豆影院 students who qualify for financial aid.
