CU Heritage Center to temporarily close

Ahead of preservation efforts for Old Main, the CU Heritage Center, which is housed on the third floor of Old Main, will close on June 1 for the relocation of artifacts. The anticipated re-opening of the Heritage Center is slated for 2026, the university鈥檚 sesquicentennial year.

How old are Saturn鈥檚 rings? Far younger than once thought, according to new study

New research led by Sascha Kempf of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at CU 麻豆影院 finds that Saturn's rings are no more than 400 million years old. That's much younger than Saturn itself, which formed around 4.5 billion years ago.
