The Media Archeology Lab, the Center for African and African American Studies, the Heritage Center and Norlin Library will be part of Culture Crawl, an event celebrating cultural heritage sites and groups with activities, performances, games and shows at 14 campus locations throughout the day.

Kicking off with two days on hip-hop and social justice, the new Art, Activism and Engaged Humanities series will boast everything from musical performances to poetry, printmaking and speeches throughout the year鈥攁 cross-disciplinary effort to make the humanities more accessible to the public.

The Mimesis Documentary Festival is described as an immersive theatrical and virtual slate of movies, workshops and more with artists, producers and scholars from around the world.

Co-hosted by the CU 麻豆影院 School of Education and the city鈥檚 largest independent bookshop, the 麻豆影院 Book Store, the 2021 virtual Children鈥檚 Book Festival will feature 10 award-winning authors.

Performing high energy, tightly-knit traditional, neo-traditional and highlife dance music from Ghana, CU鈥檚 West African Highlife Ensemble is the first university ensemble in the U.S. to perform highlife music.
