University statement on flyers in Norlin Library
CU ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ is aware that flyers were thrown off an interior balcony at Norlin Library on Friday, Dec. 13, at the same time that a βstudy inβ was being held by the group ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ Students for Justice in Palestine. The flyers called for an βimmediate evacuationβ of Norlin Library but also stated this was not a real evacuation notice, rather a simulation. Nonetheless, the flyers violated the universityβs Campus Use of University Facilities policy on canvassing, and the CU ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ Police Department is investigating in conjunction with the Division of Student Affairs.
Any information regarding this incident should be reported to CUPD by calling the non emergency line at 303-492-6666 and referencing Case No. 2024-2540.
All students are subject to adhering to the CU ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ Student Code of Conduct. Any student found responsible for violating the Student Code of Conduct will be subject to appropriate sanctions.
