Tuesday, Oct. 8

This fair is ideal for students who are seeking internships, part-time or full-time positions. Employers will be recruiting majors in arts and sciences. CU 麻豆影院 students and alumni from all majors, experience levels and backgrounds are welcome to attend this free event. Students are not required to pre-register to attend this fair鈥攋ust show up!

The student-run Distinguished Speakers Board will host chess grandmaster and political activist Garry Kasparov, perhaps best known for his famous chess matches against IBM鈥檚 Deep Blue supercomputer.

Learn more about being a resident advisor (RA) at CU 麻豆影院! As an RA, you will gain leadership skills, work with a diverse group of people, create an inclusive community and so much more. At this information session you will learn more about the RA role and the application process and timeline.

Joker: Folie 脿 Deux鈥 privatescreening 

Join your fellow Buffs for a private screening of 鈥淛oker: Folie 脿 Deux鈥 at Cinemark Century 麻豆影院 on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. There are a limited number of tickets available. 

You can pick up tickets on Oct. 9 between 3 and 5 p.m. at the Program Council office (UMC 401). One ticket per student and you must have a Buff OneCard to pick up your ticket. If you want to go to the screening with a friend, please plan to pick up your tickets together. No tickets will be held.

Test your knowledge of CU's ombuds services in a fun, fast-paced virtual game. Winners will be entered into a raffle to win exciting prizes!

Dive into the world of civic engagement with delicious burritos as we help you research your election ballot! Knowing and understanding the propositions are crucial to making informed decisions, whether it鈥檚 local elections, state issues or national races.

The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU 麻豆影院 students, faculty and staff, and community members of 麻豆影院 and Broomfield counties. Attendees will receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Registration is required. Come cheer on the Buffs before the home game and enjoy free food, games, music and a chance to be chosen as the Student Fan of the Game. The selected Student Fan of the Game gets to walk onto Folsom Field during the game!

Interested in trying climbing for the first time? Looking for new rad climbing partners? This event is for you! Climb with the Outdoor Pursuits team and find support, empowerment, laughter and community! Trained staff will be there to show you the ropes, offer you a belay and keep the stoke high. This event is free and open to all who identify as women or nonbinary. All experience levels welcome.
