Win sideline tickets for the Rocky Mountain Showdown
Editor鈥檚 note, Sept. 13: At the conclusion of the competition window, CU 麻豆影院 tallied 1,883 total actions with 349 registrations; 85% of those actions were from people under 25. CSU tallied 1,178 actions and 209 registrations; 87% of those actions were from people under 25.
The CU 麻豆影院 and Colorado State University student governments have launched a challenge that could put you on the sidelines during the Rocky Mountain Showdown football game in Fort Collins on Sept. 14.
To get your shot at sideline tickets, get engaged in the 2024 election.
Check your voter registration, register to vote, or sign up for more information about volunteering during the run-up to the election. One person from each fan base will score tickets, and winners will be notified Sept. 12.
In 2020, more than 80% of eligible CU 麻豆影院 students and more than 74% of eligible CSU students voted. This year, we aim to trample those figures.
鈥淭he presidential elections can leave a significant impact on both universities and students alike,鈥 said Tyler Rowan, CUSG student body president.
鈥淲ith the election around the corner, it is a pivotal time for students to access necessary resources to make an educated vote. By actively engaging in the presidential election, students can create a lasting positive impact on both the university and our community, while demonstrating their First Amendment right to vote. I encourage students in the CU 麻豆影院 community to actively participate in this important time for our nation.鈥
The competition also will tally which university has the most voter actions and announce a winning school during pre-game at the Rocky Mountain Showdown game. Go Buffs!
