This week brings an Earth Week music festival, Holocaust remembrance, salsa dancing, a Consent Carnival, mental health support, Peace Corps information, a Will Vill party, free sunflower seeds and more.

Monday, April 17

   2–6 p.m.    Farrand Field
This sustainability-themed music festival features live music from local bands, ice cream and more! 

   2–4 p.m.    Wardenburg west solarium
Join Health and Wellness Services for a mindful walk around campus to learn about the trees.


Tuesday, April 18

   10 a.m.–3 p.m.    UMC fountain
Attend this event for a public reading of the names of European Jews murdered in the Holocaust. The campus and larger community is encouraged to attend this remembrance ceremony. 

   11 a.m.–3 p.m.   C4C Abrams Lounge
Acknowledge April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and attend the Consent Carnival. Learn about resources, enjoy food, play games and win prizes.


Wednesday, April 19

   11 a.m.–noon    Virtual 
What does mental health look like at CU? This presentation will connect attendees with resources and teach them how to recognize signs of distress. 

   Noon–1 p.m.    Virtual 
Have you ever thought about volunteering with the Peace Corps? This information session will feature a conversation with a diverse group of volunteers.


Thursday, April 20

   Noon–3:30 p.m.    Norlin Library east entrance 
Norlin Library is handing out sunflower seeds in celebration of Earth Day! This event is part of , a community gardening project at CU. 

   2–4 p.m.    Williams Village North lawn
Celebrate Williams Village with a fun block party! Enjoy field games and food samples from Â鶹ӰԺ restaurants. 


Friday, April 21

Cordae concert with N3ptune, Rusty Steve

   8 p.m.    UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom   &²Ô²ú²õ±è;$25–$50
It is time for the biggest music event of the semester: the 2023 Program Council Spring Show. Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae will headline, with N3ptune and guitarist Rusty Steve opening. Open to the public.
