This week brings a chance to appreciate the special women in your life, a Green2Go meeting, Trivia Night, free pro lacrosse tickets, a community gathering, a video game talk, casino night and more.

Monday, March 6

   7–9 p.m.    The Connection
Test your knowledge with trivia night, held every other Monday at The Connection. 

   5–6 p.m.    UMC 355
Join weekly Green2Go (a CUSG Environmental Board subcommittee) meetings and help implement a reusable to-go container system in campus dining halls.


Tuesday, March 7

   6–7 p.m.    C4C N320
Each month, the Center for Inclusion and Social Change hosts a community gathering. Students can connect with fellow Buffs, make new friends and play games.


Wednesday, March 8

   2–4 p.m.    UMC 457
Make a card for a loved one, friend or mentor by making a card for International Womxn’s Day with DSCC. 

   5:30–7 p.m.    Rec Center, Outdoor Pursuits classroom    $5
Cooking in the backcountry means using stoves, fire and more. Gain cooking knowledge by getting first-hand experience with tasty recipes! 


Thursday, March 9

Do you plan on working in video games? This talk from field experts will help you understand the steps you can take to get there.

Can you identify the prime suspect? Enjoy an ’80s-themed murder mystery party. Costumes encouraged.


Friday, March 10

   7–9 p.m.    The Connection
Are you ready to test your luck? Visit The Connection for a casino night with five-card-draw poker, blackjack and roulette. 

Free Friday Power Hour: Body building

   5–6 p.m.    Rec Center, Studio 2
The Rec offers free fitness classes every other week. Build lower-body strength with this hour-long class.

   7 p.m.    Ball Arena
