This weekend brings Webb telescope discoveries, LGBTQ+ badminton, a Babylon film screening, the International Festival, a fashion show of recycled couture, a Reel Rock 17 world premiere and more.

Friday, March 3

Enjoy a fun evening of badminton hosted by Rec Services and the Pride Office.

Trash The Runway is a fashion show put on by middle- and high-schoolers. Each runway outfit is made entirely out of recycled materials. 

   8 p.m.   ​&²Τ²ϊ²υ±θ;CHEM 140
Program Council is holding a free showing of Babylon. It is a 2022 film starring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and more. It follows the journey of multiple characters during the transition from silent to sound films in the 1920s.

CU on the Weekend: Music of the Long ’70s 

  1–2:30 p.m.    CASE, fourth floor, auditorium 
From Black Power and punk to jam bands and Jewish soul musicβ€”this presentation explores the β€œMe Decade” of the 1970s.

   3–7 p.m.   ​&²Τ²ϊ²υ±θ;UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom 
The International Festival celebrates diversity at CU. Enjoy various activities and booths representing many countries and cultures.

Enjoy three heart-stopping new world-premiere films at the Reel Rock 17 world premiere. The event will include RR17 athlete appearances, Q&As with the filmmakers, gear giveaways and more.
