Mindful Mondays

Finals are almost here! Join fellow Buffs for a meditation session to help you manage transitions and change, and learn mindfulness activities you can use over break.


Tuesday, Dec. 7

There鈥檚 no better friend than a furry friend. Take a study break and stop by to pet a therapy dog.

Let your creativity shine at DIY Night! Take a break from studying and come make your very own desk lamp. All materials will be provided, and each participant will need to register in advance. Space is limited, so sign up early.


Wednesday, Dec. 8

Stop by the Center for Student Involvement to take a break and relax from studying for finals. Mindfulness coloring sheets, hot cocoa and tea will be available.

Thursday, Dec. 9

Come relax and de-stress! Yoga mats will be provided, and you don鈥檛 need previous yoga experience. Remember to wear clothes that will allow you to move and stretch, and don鈥檛 forget your water bottle.

Enjoy an evening of music with the rising band Peach Tree Rascals and local supporting artist Mr. Mota.听All tickets purchased for the Nov. 3 date will be honored at this rescheduled date. Tickets are $5 for CU 麻豆影院 students and $10 for the general public. If you have a ticket from Nov. 3 and cannot attend on the new date, you may request a refund.听


Friday, Dec. 10

International Coffee Hour is a space for international and domestic students, faculty and staff at CU 麻豆影院 to gather and celebrate culture and promote diversity and inclusion on campus. Everyone is welcome to attend. Free coffee and snacks will be provided.听Come meet new Buffs and have a fun evening!

Bring your popcorn and a friend and come watch Malignant. Follow the story of Madison, who is听paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders. Her torment worsens as she discovers these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the film begins at 8 p.m.
