This weekend brings yoga and meditation for all, a “Halloween” screening, the Graveyard Grooves dance party, improv from Left Right Tim, Halloween Zumba, aCU Independent meeting and more.

7:45–9:30 a.m.Norlin West Entrance
Start your Friday with coffee and donuts! Meet fellow transfer Buffs at the Norlin west entrance to fuel up for the day.

10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.CASE,Transfer Space
This is your time to share about your transfer experience—the highs, lows and somewhere in betweens. You can speak about the admissions process, communication, campus life and more.

12:15–12:45 p.m.CU Art Museum
Take a break from school, learn about works of art and participate in a related mindfulness practice. The powerful, guided meditation can undo stress, soothe the nervous system and help you feel relaxed and revitalized. Anyone can join in the museum galleries in person or virtually. for virtual attendance.

5–6 p.m. Rec Center
Find inner balance while you build strength and flexibility. Join this moderate-paced class with flowing sequences and emphasis on alignment, core stability and inner awareness. Modifications will be provided to accommodate all body types and abilities.

7–9 p.m.UMC, The Connection
Calling all performers! Are you a singer, musician, band, comedian, poet, storyteller or have any other talents you want to share with the world? If so, then come perform at Open Mic Night at The Connection’s Club 156. All types of performers, first-timers and experienced artists are welcome. Performer sign-up begins at 6 p.m. at The Connection front desk.

Bring your popcorn, get ready for a scare and come watch Halloween! Every Friday, Program Council will have a movie showing so you don’t have to worry about Friday night plans! Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the film begins at 8 p.m.

8:30–10:30 p.m. Farrand Field
Get in the Halloween spirit, dress up and get ready to dance at the silent disco graveyard grooves dance party. Wear your costume,grabyourfriends and enjoy some food and drinks while you dance the night away. Remember to bring your Buff OneCard to enter.


Saturday, Oct. 23

11 a.m.–noonRec Center, Outdoor Program classroom
Come learn about strength training foundations and navigating fitness spaces on campus. Alex, a personal trainer, will discuss his own experiences with fitness as a trans man as well as provide tips on how to navigate spaces and create a supportive community for LGBTQ+ students.

7–10 p.m.UMC, The Connection
Grab a couple of friends and get ready to have a great night at The Connection! Enjoy the fun of bowling with black lights, colored lane lights and color pins. It’s the only extreme bowling you’ll find in 鶹ӰԺ! Also open Friday nights.

8–10 p.m.Rec Center, Studio 2
Come to the Rec Center and dance Zumba to a special Halloween playlist! You’ll also have the chance to paint pumpkins and enjoy snacks while having fun. No experience is necessary, and costumes are encouraged.
