All graduate students are invited to enroll in Zoom workshops on mentorship and how to give a successful Three Minute Thesis presentation, as well as an additional session for international graduate students on how to interact confidently with others.
Mentorship I: Building Successful Mentor-Mentee Relationships
Oct. 21, noon to 1:30 p.m.
Learn the importance of effective mentor-mentee relationships, various mentoring frameworks, and strategies for establishing and maintaining mentor networks.
Three Minute Thesis Welcome Orientation
Oct. 26, noon to 1 p.m.

Learn tips and tricks to a successful Three Minute Thesis (3MT) presentation and a full explanation of the rules of the competition. Learn more about the hands-on and individualized workshops offered to those who for the 3MT competition.
Mentorship II: Resolving Conflict
Oct. 28, noon to 1 p.m.
Learn valuable skills and techniques for resolving conflict in the mentor-mentee relationship.
Confident Conversation (for international graduate students): Breaking the Ice with Small Talk
Oct. 28, 5 to 6 p.m.
