Difficult Dialogues: How to talk about race

Learn fromÌýa panel of industry representatives who work outdoors or are a part of the outdoor industry about the steps they took to get into their chosen fields and industries. The following organizations will be participating: JVA, Stryd, Specialized, Dawson, Major League Baseball and Revel Gear.

Students will have the opportunity to meet and network with Colorado employers who lead inclusive practices in hiring and in the workplace.ÌýThe event will featureÌýa panel of employers discussing their experiences being out in the workplace, whether or not to put LGBTQ experience on résumés and more. Afterward,ÌýnetworkÌýin a casual mixer environment.

5:30–7:30 p.m. Village Center
Join your fellow students to learn basic cooking techniques! Sign-up begins at 5:15 p.m. at the base of the stairs. Space is limited to the first 15 people who sign up, so please be sure to arrive early. Closed-toe shoes are required.
