Chris Gotski, director of the , will retire at the end of 2019. Gotski has been with the store for 10 years and has held associate director and director roles during his tenure. Associate directors Jessica Carlsen and Tristy Hillestad will jointly manage the store operations until a new director is in place.

Gotski answered a few questions as he prepares to depart.
What鈥檚 your best memory from being the bookstore director?
It鈥檚 a tie, the CU Book Store winning the NACS Foundation鈥檚 Collegiate Retailer of the Year award in 2015, and as my career at CU spanned two听decades, the 62-36 win over Nebraska!
What didn鈥檛 you expect when you became the director?
How well the store is respected by the CU community!
Will Hawaiian shirts always be in style?
Of course!
What are you most looking forward to in retirement?
Travel and exploring new opportunities to make a difference!
What will you miss about the bookstore?
My co-workers鈥攚e are an amazing team, and I鈥檒l miss the daily interactions with them.
