The university鈥檚 inaugural Research & Innovation Week kicked off听Oct. 15 with a poster session sponsored by the United Government of Graduate Students (UGGS).
鈥淲e would like to congratulate our participants for taking the time and effort to collaborate with us in this poster presentation,鈥 said Juan Garc铆a Oyervides, president of UGGS.
鈥淲e would also like to recognize the three teams who were selected as having outstanding posters and invite them to share their experience with other graduate students in their fields. We are very satisfied with the results of this poster session and are looking forward to continuing and expanding this event next year.鈥
The three teams recognized for outstanding posters each received $250: Jennifer L. Berry, Melissa S. Ugelow, Margaret A. Tolbert and Eleanor C. Browne (Department of Chemistry and听CIRES); Audrey K. Puls, John M. Ladbury and William F. Young (CU 麻豆影院, NIST, CU Denver); Pavel Bacovsky, Marija Sajekaite听and Sarah Wilson Sokhey (Department of Political Science).
