CliftonStrengths is a听free tool听that CU听麻豆影院 is using to provide university community members with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to foster strengths-based conversations leading to increased well-being and belonging across campus.

Career Services workshopStudents, faculty, staff听and administrators who focus on their strengths to achieve well-being and are engaged with one another are more likely to be committed to and proud of the institution. Engaged and healthy students听are more likely to remain at CU听麻豆影院, graduate in a timely fashion and stay connected with CU听麻豆影院 as active alumni.听

Staff and faculty are invited to participate in free professional development听workshops facilitated by听the Strengths Advisory Committee. 听or contact听strengthsquest@colorado.edu with any questions.

  • Connected with other faculty and staff on campus in an effort to听learn more about resources, opportunities and best practices
  • Learned strategies to effectively use Strengths to increase productivity, build collaborative relationships and enhance workplace communication

Strengths Introduction

Through this interactive session, learn about Strengths theory and build knowledge of Strengths to motivate the CU 麻豆影院 community to maximize their talents. Upon attending this session, learners will develop a preliminary understanding of Strengths theory, recognize how personal Strengths manifest in daily life and understand how CU 麻豆影院 integrates Strengths into the campus community.

Wednesday, Oct. 17, 9鈥11 a.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 27, 10 a.m. to noon

Pre-requisite: Completion of Clifton Strengths听online assessment

Strengths in 1:1 Conversations听

Apply Strengths theory and expand familiarity with other Strengths to improve individual conversations and relationships. During this听session, learners will听cultivate an increased听appreciation and understanding of Strengths outside of their top five and will utilize tools and听practice听having a Strengths-based conversation.听

Wednesday, Oct. 17, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Pre-requisites: Strengths Introduction (or another Strengths workshop)

Strengths in Supervision听

Through active participation in this session, learners will be able to explain how their Strengths influence their supervision, understand principles of Strengths-based management and engagement, build knowledge of Strengths-based questions, and identify at least one new strategy to incorporate in their supervision approach.听
