Dean Ann Schmiesing and other Graduate School staff welcome students to the grad student appreciation breakfastDedicated to academic excellence and enhancing graduate students’ experience at CU Â鶹ӰԺ, the Graduate School realized a number of accomplishments this past academic year in partnership with the graduate students, staff and faculty they serve.

Numerous graduate programs maintained top rankings, the number of graduate degree and certificate programs continued to grow, and many graduate students received prestigious national and international awards.

The Graduate School celebrated Graduate Student Appreciation Week, which recognized the many contributions that graduate students make to the campus and community, and doubled the size of the Graduate Peer Mentoring Program.

Understanding our graduate students’ financial challenges, the Graduate School inaugurated an improved pay schedule in fall 2017 and worked with campus administration to secure increases to the graduate student stipend rate, active RTD passes for graduate students on summer student-faculty appointments for this coming summer, and a proposed elimination of the athletic fee for graduate students.
