When you think of robots you probably think of metallic droids. But at CU 麻豆影院 a group of researchers are creating the next generation of robots using low cost soft materials similar to what鈥檚 used for making potato chip bags. The goal is to create 鈥渟oft robots鈥� that mimic the expansion and contraction of natural muscles, says material science and engineering student Nicholas Kellaris.
